Members can then exchange their points for an item from the website's online store (thebx.net/shopping) - among other activities. Upon registering at this website, members are automatically awarded 200 User Points. - The amount of User Points you have is displayed on the top-left of the website. If the link is not visible, then you are not logged-in. To access the User Point options simply click the Points link.
Some of the ways that members earn User Points is by playing the games, posting messages, winning the lotto, and robbing other members of their Points.
- Wining A Games Tournament = 20 Points
- Starting A New Topic = 10 Points
- Replying To A Topic = 5 Points
- Editing A Post = .00 Points
- Gaining The Highscore In A Game = 20 Points
- Uploading An Image To The Gallery = 5 Points
- Posting Event In Calendar and Classified Ad Post = Given At Admin Discretion
PLAYING THE GAMES
Every time a member beat the highscore of a respective game in the Games section of the website they obtain Points. You'll earn Points even if your score is the highest and you beat it.
GAME TOURNAMENTS
Members can earn User Points by competing in the website's Game Tournaments (in the Games section of the website). In a Game Tournament, members try to get the highest score in a respective game - within a certain time period. For example, members will try to see who will have the highest score in the game Packman witin 48 hrs. Twenty (20) User Points are awarded to the winner of the Tournament.
GAME CHALLENGES
User Points can be earned by Challenging other members in a respective game in the Games section of the website. More or less two website members play a selected game to see who can get the highest score. Challenges can be for free or for User Points.
POSTING MESSAGES
When a member post a new Topic or Reply to a posted Topic in the Forum (the section of the website you're currently in) they will obtain Points. You will earn more User Points when you start a new Topic than you will if you Reply to one.
ROBBING MEMBERS
Members can rob other members of their User Points. To rob a member of his/her Points simply click the Points link at the top of the website then select Robbery. Robberies are successful only half the time... If your robbery attempt fail, you will lose a percentage of the amount you attempted to rob. So if you try to rob a member of 10 Points and it fails you will lose 1 Point. You cannot rob members of Points that are inside of the Bank.
THE BANK
Members earn interest on the User Points that they place inside of the Bank. Also, you cannot be robbed of Points that are in the Bank. To access the Bank, simply click the Points link at the top of the website then select Bank.
THE LOTTERY
User Points can also be obtained by winning the Lottery. To purchase a Lottery Ticket with your User Points simply click the Points link at the top of the website then select Lottery. The Lotto Drawing is done every 48 hours. Members can purchase up to 10 Tickets at a time... The Tickets cost 2 User Points a piece. A higher quantity of Tickets will increase your chance of winning.
DONATIONS
Members can donate User Points to other members. To donate Points, go to the Profile page of the member you are donating to then click the Donate link (located next to their User Points amount).
EXCHANGE YOUR POINTS FOR AN ITEM
Members can exchange their User Points for an item in the website's online store (morrisania.com/shopping). To exchange your Points for an item, send a Private Message (PM) to keith. In your message be sure to include the Item Number of the item you are requesting, the size, the color (if applicable) and the name and address to ship the item to. The items are normally processed and shipped 2-3 weeks after the message is received.
RAN OUT OF USER POINTS
If you ran out of User Points (0 Points) simply send a Private Message (PM) to keith. He will then provide you with a few Points. To ensure that you don't run out of Points and/or that you are not robbed of all of your Points, place some of your User Points in the Bank. Also, use the options listed on this page to earn extra Points. To access the Bank, simply click the Points link at the top of the website then select Bank.
UPLOADING IMAGES TO THE GALLERY
Members earn 5 User Points for each image they Upload to the website's Photo Gallery. To access the Gallery simply click the Photos link at the top of the website.
OTHER WAYS TO EARN USER POINTS
Other ways for members to earn User Points is by posting events in the Calendar, and posting Ads in the Classifieds. You should note that Points for these activities are given at the staff's discretion...
