Coming Soon: "My Greeting Cards"

I'm currently working on an option that will allow members of this website to create and send Greeting Cards directly from this website

In addition to being able to add text and images to the Cards, you'll also be able to add you're own images as backgrounds and you can add your own music to the cards.

I'm hoping to have everything configured by the end of this weekend

I have it running... I'm just adding more additions... For example I'm adding more pictures that you can select as "backgrounds" and other images that you can use to insert into your greeting cards.

Due to the fact that you could upload your own images to insert and/or use as a background picture I don't need to add too many pictures. That said, look forward to this being available by tomorrow - if not late tonight.

I may upload a snapshot of it so everyone can see it later today

OK... Since I didn't get a chance to finish adding the images last night, here is a snapshot of our website's newest feature - Greeting Cards.

In the example, I did a few things so you can get an idea of the flexibility of the software:

1) Added a background image

2) Uploaded a picture of myself... Then re-sized it to make it smaller

3) Wrote "I Love My Community" with the 'Text Tool'... Then changed the color, font and size of the text.

4) Inserted a picture of a tree... Then re-sized it to make it bigger

5) Wrote "Cool" using the 'Pencil Tool'

6) Inserted a rectangle with the 'Rectangle Tool' and changed the border color

7) Inserted a circle with the 'Circle Tool' and changed the border and background color.

8) Inserted the date with the 'Date Tool' and changed the border, text, and background color. I also changed the text size.

As a heads-up... Upon completing your greeting card, it is automatically converted to PDF format when you email it.

That said, you can use this to create flyers, invitations, etc, and email it to yourself

Actually, you don't even have to e-mail it. You can "print" it as soon as you're ready.

You can access it by going to your web page on this site. Simply scroll down to where it says "Create A Greeting Card". I'll make a formal announcement tomorrow - rather later today - considering it's now after 12.
